DAVID - NARROWING DOWN MY CHOICES
Early this week I started thinking of problems I could solve for my final project. I realized how many problems that are out there. Many problems haven't even been identified. I created a list of problems that I thought were important and made a big impact on the world. My list was very long so I took a look at everything and decided which ones I would be able to solve in the time I had. By doing that, I narrowed my list down to eight problems. I looked at the problems again and chose three out of the eight that I already had possible solutions to.
I think that 3M scientists are motivated to solve problems because they want to make the world a better place. I also think that creating something new is really fun and gives you a sense of accomplishment. This world needs engineers and scientists to make the world a better place. Scientists know how important science and technology are and are motivated to discover and invent new things because of that.
