Srijay- Printed Circuit Board

As I work, I have found that a PCB board is the best way to help shrink the footprint of my design. I have made a video entailing what goes on in making a PCB board.

Srijay- Sensible Sensors

As I finish work on my prototype I have been doing a lot of works with sensors. As such, I have learned a lot about sensors, specifically Proximity Sensors, and Accelerometers. Working with sensors has been very fun, but however has required a lot of extra work; to learn how to use the sensors themselves. I have prepared a video for you to see, so that you can see some closeups of the sensors.

Srijay - Research

Quite so! You have not observed. And yet you have seen. That is just my point. Now, I know that there are seventeen steps, because I have both seen and observed.
-Sherlock Holmes to James Watson, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes

As I continue to work on my project, I have been having to do a lot of research. I have contacted other people to ask them questions, about how my device would help them, and I have done a lot of online research. I also have learnt how to do patent searches, and research if my idea has been done. Read more

Srijay - On Working

Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success.
~Henry Ford

With help from Dr. Jonza and help from my mentor at home, Ted, I have started work on the project. However, no project runs perfectly. Read more

Srijay - On Finding an Idea

Cobb: What is the most resilient parasite? Bacteria? A virus? An intestinal worm? An idea. Resilient... highly contagious. Once an idea has taken hold of the brain it's almost impossible to eradicate. An idea that is fully formed - fully understood - that sticks; right in there somewhere.

-Inception

Dominick Cobb was right. When an idea gets hold of you all you want to do is develop it. Read more

Srijay - My Story

In December of 2012 I found out about Arduino. I wanted to build an Arduino so I took up the task of building my invention. I went to this place called Nova Labs and talked to a man named Ted there. Ted helped me build the Arduino and laser cut some parts for me. After that one of my friend's mom found out about the competition a couple of weeks before the competition. Read more
