Aishani- Getting Ready To Experiment
These past weeks have truly been filled with hours of planning, designing, and hard work! I realized that before you can get to the hands-on part of the scientific journey, you have to plan out your experiment. But that's the easy part, right? Wrong. In the beginning of the process, it had seemed to me that the planning part of my experiment was the easiest and least time consuming. But after a few hours of designing the different prototypes I will test on paper and many emails and calls with my mentor and other scientists in the field my project involves, I found out that designing a product and testing it isn't as easy as it seems. Experimenting isn't just about someone in a lab coat watching mysterious substances bubble out of clear test tubes - it's a process that involves a lot of hard work and planning.
This week and the next, I will be testing all my different prototypes and observing for which one produces the best results. Sure, there will inevitably be challenges along the way, but I am really looking forward to this significant part of the journey! I'm super excited for what's about to come!
