Gabriel - Evaluation and Emotion

On Saturday, I went to the Connecticut Science Center to drop off my invention that I used for my entry video. I think it’s really cool to have something displayed at a museum. Check out my video to see a fell beast:

This week I found myself in a quandary of sorts, involving the evaluation of my top three inventions. My evaluation judged the ideas on a scale of 1 to 10 on multiple criteria to see which held the most promise:

Criteria
Idea 1
Idea 2
Idea 3

Does it use 3M material(s)?

In the process of evaluation, my feelings conflicted with the facts. Even though I knew that the second idea scored the best, I was driven towards idea one. Now this being an impediment to choosing my solution, I am speaking to my mentor for his opinion on how I might make the decision.
